Resurfacing, Bridge and Safety Improvements on Route 2, East Hartford, CT

Siefert Associates, LLC recently provided design services for a temporary roadway alignment as part of CT DOT’s Resurfacing, Bridge and Safety Improvements project on Route 2 in East Hartford, CT. The project involved design and analysis of a 16ft high, Geogrid Reinforced Earth System (GRES) Wall for temporary roadway embankment. The GRES wall design scope included evaluation of bearing capacity, settlements and global stability.
