Replacement and Widening of Garden State Parkway Bridge
Siefert Associates, LLC is currently providing Construction Engineering services to IEW Construction Group for New Jersey Turnpike Authority Contract No. P100.476: Superstructure Replacement and Widening of Garden State Parkway Bridge over Passaic River, US Route 46, and River Drive, in Clifton and Elmwood Park, NJ. Siefert’s scope of work includes designing support of excavation systems for construction of two abutments and three retaining walls using a combination of sheet piles, concrete bin blocks and timber lagging. Soil parameter evaluation, earth pressure and lateral deflection calculations, and provisions for utility crossings are a few examples of the engineering specifics.
