LaGuardia Airport – Bridge Demolition
Siefert Associates, LLC provided design services for Skanska Walsh JV in support of the demolition of the GCP flyover ramp at LaGuardia Airport. Using our bridge modeling software, Midas Civil, SALLC analyzed the concrete and steel demolition of the concrete encased multi-span, curved steel bridge. SALLC made use of the construction staging in Midas to progressively remove concrete from the structure, and again to remove the steel beams.
