Geotechnical Investigation, Mt. Kisco, NY
Siefert Associates, LLC, completed a Geotechnical Investigation in August, 2021, for a proposed permanent watch tower project, located in Mt. Kisco, NY. We reviewed the site conditions with respect to the project requirements, determined the soil boring locations and performed the field work with the drilling contractor. After studying and classifying the soil boring and rock coring samples, we prepared a Geotechnical Report that included our recommendations for integrating the proposed foundation with the sloped ground. Subsequently, we also discussed with the project structural engineer and advised them on recommended bearing capacity and building code criteria for placement of footing on the slope.
