Brooklyn Bridge - Rehabilitation of Approach Arches

Siefert Associates, LLC provided design services for Navillus MLJ JV in support of the rehabilitation of the approach arches of the Brooklyn Bridge. SALLC designed the bracing struts between each arch block span and provided demolition and structural monitoring procedures during infill wall removal. Bracing struts prevent the movements of the granite arches during infill wall removal. Each monitoring event is performed once per hour during the demolition activity.
