Boston’s South Station Project

Siefert Associates, LLC was awarded a contract by Berlin Steel at the South Station project in Boston, MA to help complete aspects of the construction. The nearly 5-year project will include privately funded improvements to South Station’s rail and bus terminals in addition to a new, mixed-use tower with both office and residential space. The existing station was constructed in 1899. Siefert Associates will provide engineered lift plans for steel truss erection performed with an LR 1600 crawler crane in super-lift configuration and LR 1300 with a luffer.
