New Ramp K from RFK Bridge to Northbound Harlem River Drive

Early this month, Siefert Associates, LLC completed the overhang bracket design at the New Ramp K from Robert F Kennedy Bridge to Northbound Harlem River Drive project for OHLNA – Judlau. Siefert’s scope of work included designing the overhang brackets at the fascia girders for the new bridge deck pours, as well as developing deck formwork details for the interior bays at a few locations. This project presented a unique opportunity for Siefert to develop alternative solutions where typical bridge deck overhang brackets could not be utilized. Additionally, Siefert needed to account for the several locations where the bridge deck overhang length extended typical bridge deck overhang lengths.
