Union Turnpike Demo - Bridge 6
Siefert Associates, LLC prepared working drawings for Halmar International, LLC for the demolition of Bridge 6 over the Union Turnpike in NY. The over 50 year old structure was analyzed for loading due to an excavator operating at the peak of the arch with unbalanced soil pressures. Photos received from the contractor show the removal of the fill material above the arches as well as the demolition of the abutment.
