The North Tower Crane at Moynihan Station comes down!

Last Saturday, Siefert Associates, LLC inspected the Liebherr LTM1250 on 33rd Street prior to phased removal of the existing tower crane. Siefert Associates provided working drawings to Skanska USA Civil Inc for the lift plan including analysis of the viaduct structure below due to crane loading. Due to the high magnitude of the applied outrigger loads, dunnage beams were utilized to distribute the outrigger loads to the viaduct arches below.
