Atlantic Street

Siefert Associates, LLC provided design and analysis of the SPMT system successfully used by Halmar International to set six [6] new superstructure spans carrying Metro North Railroad over Atlantic Street in Stamford, CT during the week of July 4. Each superstructure span measured approximately 74’ x 26’ and weighed nearly 1.6 Million pounds. The selected movement system was comprised of a 10-Line x 6-file Scheuerle SPMT operated by Beard Transportation Inc.
