Bridge Demolition

Siefert Associates, LLC recently submitted plans to NJR Construction, LLC for the deck demolition of Sucker Brook Road in Winchester, Connecticut. The bridge required detailed analysis of the prestressed concrete girders that are to remain under various excavator loads during all stages of demolition. The bridge, located at the southern end of Sucker Brook Road, is currently closed to

traffic and is expected to be reopened in late October.
