Bridge Replacement

SPS New England is continuing to make progress on the I-495 bridge replacement in Haverhill, MA. Temporary support towers on the north and south side of the trestle were installed to help support the erection of new girders. These towers were designed to resist temporary loads including the dead load from the girders as well as the resultant lateral force from the wind load onto the face of the girders.
