Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge

At the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge in New York, Siefert Associates provided plans to American Bridge Company for a temporary cable access platform. The platform will be used on both sides of the bridge for rehabilitation on the main cables. The platform has the ability to slide into two positions, allowing access to both cables, and remain out of the roadway when necessary. Last month, American Bridge constructed the platform and Siefert Associates visited the site to inspect the platform and approve it for use.
