LIRR 3rd Track

Siefert Associates continues to provide engineering support services to 3rd Track Constructors as they work towards the addition of a third track along LIRR’s main line at Carle Place and Merillon Station in NY. The project requires the existing concrete planks and piers to be demolished and removed prior to the installation of the new pre-cast concrete sections. Siefert Associates has been given the opportunity to provide the engineered lift plans and rigging design to support the reconstruction of the platforms.
