Bayonne Bridge Demolition – ACD/EIG, JV
April 2018: Siefert Associates, LLC continues to provide engineered lift plans for ACD/EIG, JV to remove concrete pier segments of the Bayonne Bridge. The piers are sawcut and then removed with a Liebherr LR1300SX crawler crane. Rigging holes are cored through the 10ft thick concrete pier as shown. Challenges include minimizing sawcutting by lifting large (>200k pieces) and maintaining headroom clearance to the active new bridge above.
