Helical Pile Testing

Siefert Associates’ Geotechnical Engineering department attended CSCE's Annual Spring Geotechnical Workshop on Friday, April 6. The workshop's focus was helical piles with keynote speaker, Dr. Alan J. Lutenegger of UMASS Amherst. Lutenegger was the advisor to our very own Tom Orszulak, P.E. during his graduate studies at UMASS. Here is a picture from Tom's field testing program on, you guessed it, helical piles!
