The Bayonne Bridge, a historic civil engineering landmark designed by Othmar H. Ammann, is the fourth longest steel arch bridge in the world and was the longest in the world at the time of its completion. It connects Bayonne, New Jersey, with Staten Island, New York, spanning the Kill Van Kull.

Skanska Koch-Kiewit, JV [SKK] will replace the main span roadway and bridge approach structures of the Bayonne Bridge. The scope of work also includes raising the roadway of the Bayonne Bridge as shown in this video.

Siefert Associates, LLC is working extensively with the contractor to provide construction services such as:

  1. Demolition and Erection Plans of the Main Span and Approaches.

  2. Design of Temporary Shoring Towers and foundations.

  3. Analyze the Structure under Transporter Loads.

  4. Design of Temporary Platforms
